Sample Answer-

Honestly, I don't have a lot of friends from different cultures, but there's one person I've stayed in touch with. Her name is Anaya, and she's from India. We actually met a few years ago at a language camp in Malta. The camp was full of students from all over the world... Europe, Asia, even South America. And the first day was a little overwhelming, to be honest. But Anaya and I CLICKED right away. We were both a bit shy at first, but somehow we ENDED UP sitting next to each other during the first activity, and we just started talking. What surprised me was HOW MUCH WE HAD IN COMMON, even though we grew up in completely different places. We both love reading, we're into photography, and we have the same weird sense of humor. I think that made it really easy to FEEL COMFORTABLE AROUND each other. After the camp ended, we didn't want to lose touch, so we started doing video calls... usually about once a month. Sometimes we talk about everyday stuff like school or work, sometimes we swap book recommendations, or just CATCH UP ON what's GOING ON in our lives.I really enjoy spending time with her because it's not just about staying friends, it's also like getting a small window into another culture. She sometimes tells me about Indian traditions and festivals, and honestly, if it weren't for her, I'd only know about those things from books or the internet. I'm really glad we met. It's one of those friendships that just feels easy and real, even though we live so far apart
