What flowers have special meaning in your country?

I would say the Lotus is one of the most important flowers in my culture as it signifies the holy seat of Buddha and it's a symbol of purity of the heart and mind.

In my culture the sunflower is much appreciated one as it symbolizes solar energy and fertility and, thereby, well-being.

I like flowers very much because they are beautiful and have a wonderful smell. I guess giving flowers to a woman is a nice romantic gesture and the best way to show a man's feelings. At the same time, I can't help admitting that I shy away from roses on first dates because in my perception they signifv deep passion. For this occasion, I prefer receive mixed in-season bouquets.

What is your favorite flower?

Well, it is tulips that I adore. I associate them with the beginning of spring and a new cycle of life. They also come in a variety of colours and have a wonderful smell. I love them for their elegance in a vase.

I've always loved roses. I guess they are the most elegant and sophisticated flowers of all. And I've always thought that if a person gives me roses, they consider me passionate and romantic.

Do you like to have flowers in your home?

Absolutely! The main reason why I like to have flowers in my home is that they instantly change the look of a room, breathing new life into the space. And not only are they beautiful, but have a wonderful smell which, as is known, is intimately connected to our senses and, thereby, emotions.

Do you ever grow flowers at home?

Thank God, I don't grow flowers at home. If I did, they wouldn't survive because I know for sure I would constantly forget to water them.

Do people in your country like growing flowers?

I'm afraid there are a select few who have green fingers and truly enjoy fighting weeds and pests, trimming dead leaves and pruning troos.
