18. Geography

1. Have you ever learned Geography?

Yeah. I learned Geography in school and college. In high school, we explored different countries, cultures, and how everything fits together. Later in college, we continued with more detailed stuff about the world. It was interesting and gave me a better understanding of what's happening globally. So, Geography was a part of my learning journey. And it was one of my favourite subjects.

2. Do you think Geography is useful?

Yes, I believe geography is incredibly useful. It helps us understand the world around us. For example, it teaches us about different climates, ecosystems, and how landforms impact our lives. And this knowledge is essential for things like environmental protection and disaster management.

Do you think Geography is useful?

Absolutely, I think geography is very practical. It gives us valuable skills like map reading and spatial awareness. When you travel, having the ability to navigate and understand the geography of a place is indispensable. I mean knowing how to figure out where you are, read maps, and get a sense of how a new place is set up can make your trip a whole lot better. It keeps you from getting lost or feeling all mixed up, so you can enjoy your adventure to the fulles

3. Do you like Geography?

Yeah, to me, Geography is the synonym for travelling and exploring the world around us. Geography is exciting. It's much more than just studying maps and knowledge of country capitals. It's really interesting to explore the physical properties of Earth's surface and to study places and the relationships between people and their environments... to examine what impact physical properties of the Earth, such as mountain ranges and bodies of water have on the way humans move, think, and act... I love geography 'cause it's fun.

4. Do you ever want to travel to a country because of its geographical location?

Yeah, whenever I want to go skiing or hiking, I choose a mountainous country. If I want to have a beach holiday, I go to a country that is washed by the sea or the ocean and where the weather is always warm. Also, I want to go to some countries to see some strange geographical formations. For example, I'm dreaming of going to Finland to see the Giant Rock. It's a 7-meter long boulder that has been balancing on top of another huge rock for more than 10 thousand years. The contact point between these two rocks is rather small, and it looks as though the upper rock is performing an impossible balancing act, but it cannot be rocked with human force. It's amazing. Plus, I want to go to Mexico to visit the Cave of Crystals. And I would be happy to go to China to see the Reed Flute Cave, a beautifully coloured limestone cave, and the Shilin Stone Forest.
