1.Parks, nature
Q1 Are natural views better than city views?
Ans- I personally think natural views are much better than city views. When I look at mountains, forests or the sea, I immediately feel calmer and more relaxed. Nature gives a sense of peace that cities can never provide. It also reduces stress and reminds us how beautiful our planet is. In contrast, city views are usually noisy and full of traffic. The air is often polluted, and the view of buildings can feel stressful. That's why many people escape to the countryside during weekends or holidays. Natural beauty is timeless, while cities are always changing and sometimes overwhelming.
Q2 Do all people need some nature?
Ans- I believe all people need some contact with nature, even if they don't realize it. Nature helps us relax, breathe fresh air, and escape from stress. For example, just walking in a park can improve our mood and mental health. Sunlight and greenery also have a positive effect on our physical well-being. That's why even big cities try to create parks, gardens, and green spaces. People might not always admit it, but everyone feels calmer near trees, water, or mountains. Without nature, life would feel too artificial and depressing. So I think nature is something essential for all human beings.
Q3 Are people hard-wired to protect the environment?
Ans- I think people are naturally hard-wired to protect the environment. For thousands of years, humans depended on nature for survival, so protecting it was essential. Even today, we feel happier and calmer in clean, green spaces. Many cultures and traditions include respect for the land, water, and animals. When people see pollution or deforestation, they often feel sadness or guilt, which shows a natural reaction. Younger generations also seem very passionate about protecting the planet. Of course, not everyone acts on this instinct, but the feeling is still there. So I believe caring for the environment is a deep human quality.
Q4 Why do people like visiting places with trees or forests?
Ans- I think people enjoy visiting places with trees or forests because it's one of the few chances they get to properly switch off. Life these days is so fast-paced and noisy, especially in cities, so being surrounded by nature helps people slow down and breathe a little. Also, forests feel really peaceful and calming. It's almost like therapy without actually going to therapy. Another reason is that people just crave something real,/u>. We spend so much time in front of screens or in buildings made of glass and concrete, so being in a forest (hearing birds and smelling the trees) feels refreshing and kind of grounding. And I guess for a lot of people, it also brings back memories of childhood, like playing outside or going on trips with their families, which adds to the appeal.
Q5 Why is it important to have parks in the city?
Q6 What benefits can a park bring to a city?
And- Well, for a variety of reasons. First of all, parks supply cities with ecosystems services such as preservation of biodiversity and regulation of the urban climate, which is of primary importance for urban areas. They also make air clean and help with air and noise pollution control. Secondly, they cause a significant rise in social connection in communities they are located in, providing space for residents to interact with each other and meet new people. What is more, parks give young people a safe place to interact with one another keeping them off the streets and out of trouble as well as provide opportunities for parents to bond with children.
