Q1- What happened to the farmers income during the pandemic?
Ans- During the pandemic, some farmers saw an increase in their income. This was especially true for those who provided essential food products like vegetables, fruits and dairy. Many people stayed at home, so the demand for home-cooked meal grew and people started buying more fresh produce. Local farmers who sold directly to customers or to supermarkets benefited from the surge in demand.
Q2-How do people grow plants in cities?
Ans- Even in big cities, a lot of people still find ways to grow plants. Some grow herbs or small vegetables in pots on their balconies or window sills. Others use vertical planters or hanging pots to save space. In bigger buildings, you can also see rooftop gardens. They're great for growing more things and also help keep the building cooler. Some people use their terraces too, especially if they have more space and sunlight. It's like a mini garden in the city . And of course, there are community gardens where people share space and grow things together.

Ans- No doubt, it is . First of all, because farming is the source of our food supply, and, secondly, because it's a huge boon to the local economy. What I mean is not only the fact that farming plays a big role in a nations revenue but also the fact that it provides employment to many people living in the area. I've also heard that it has a positive impact on the environment by trapping green house gases within crops and soils.
Q5-Is there any difference between the way food is produced nowadays and the way it was done in the past?
Q6-What are the differences between traditional and modern agriculture?
Ans- of course, it is. Compared to the past, farmers have intensified production by using better inputs, such as synthetic fertilisers, improved varieties and crop protection chemicals and by adopting better management practices, such as crop rotation to sustain soils and irrigation to improve water use. In conjunction with them fisheries have started to exploit new technologies, and increasingly aqua culture to increase global fish production.
Q7-Do people like o grow their own vegetables in your country?
Ans- well, I would say more yes than no as quite a lot of my compatriots do it. I guess the main reasons for that are as follows-first of all, people want to eat healthy, fresh produce and stop worrying about food safety. Eating home grown vegetables they can be sure that they are without pesticide and higher in vitamins and nutrients. What is more, they can enjoy a much better taste and smell of their own foods. Secondly, growing own veggies can save people money at the grocery stores, which also adds to a wish to have a small garden.
Q8-Do you think it's good to let kids learn how to plant?
Ans- Yes, I think it's a great idea to let kids learn how to plant. First of all, it teaches them patience cause they see you can't just put a seed in the ground and expect a flower the next day. They have to water it, wait and take care of it. That's a real good lesson for life. Also planting helps them understand where food comes from. If a child grows a tomato or some herbs, they might feel more connected to what they eat even be more open to trying a new healthy things. And finally, it's a hands on activity that gets them away from screens.
