32.Intelligence

Q1-Are people born clever or need to learn to be clever?

Q2-Why are some children more intelligent than others?

ANS- Well, I believe the latter is true as I am sure that Intelligence is largely based on people's up bringing rather than inherited traits. There is no doubt that children are born with some genetic predispositions but the brain is a physical organ, and like other organs and muscles in the body it can be trained to be fitter and more efficient, which proves that intelligence is something malleable that changes over time and can grow especially through hard work and constraint practice.

Q3-Who plays a more important role in a child's development, teachers or parents ?

ANS- Well, I think that both parents and teachers play a vital role in kid's holistic development of their child as they provide nurture and structure of their children or in other words, give their kids love, attention, understanding, acceptance time and support mixing them with giving direction, imposing rules, using discipline, setting limits and teaching values.

Q4- Do you think smart people are tend to be selfish?

ANS- Oh no, no way. Vice versa, intelligent people are usually altruistic and generous as they are very good at assessing the needs of other people and also more inclined to give without expecting anything in return. They understand that its the people around them that generate support and opportunities , which helps them keep the balance between the need to pursue their own goals and the need to consider other people's feelings.

Q5-Do you think smart people are happy?

Q6-Do you think smart people are happier than others?

ANS- Well, I think they can easily be happy as they are m ore self- aware than unintelligent people nd pay attention to their surroundings and h ow they fit into a social circle. What is more, they are able to control their happiness as they usually know what they should do to feel happy like exercise, spend more time with friends or set and pursue goals which inspire them.

Q7-Do you think society needs people with different types of intelligence?

ANS- Absolutely. Each person has dominant forms of intelligence. And each person with a particular type of intelligence has a particular talent or ability. That's why we're not all naturally skilled at the same things. Some of us are more athletic and have better coordination. Some pick up on language and words faster, while others are good with numbers and visualization patterns. This means that people with different types of intelligence will perform different jobs, which is crucial for the smooth functioning of society.

Q8-Do you think smart people are not good at certain things?

ANS- Absolutely. I think that smart people may excel in one area, and do poorly in another. For example, at least three great physics including Albert Einstein, had great spatial and mathematical ability but delayed speech. First of all, having a high degree of mental ability doesn't mean having knowledge in a particular field. Also, intelligence doesn't automatically translate to skills.
