Ans-I would like to talk about an experience when I was not allowed to use a mobile phone.

This happened about two years ago when I went to a government office to complete some official documentation work. It was related to property verification, and I had to meet a senior officer. The office was located in my hometown, Patiala.

When I entered the office, the security guard informed me that mobile phones were strictly prohibited inside. I had to switch off my phone and deposit it at the security counter before entering. At first, I felt a bit uncomfortable because I usually rely on my phone for calls, messages, and checking documents. However, I didn’t have any choice.

The reason mobiles were not allowed was security and confidentiality. The office handled sensitive government records, and they wanted to prevent photography, recording, or information leaks. During my visit, I waited for my turn, submitted the required documents, and completed the process without any issues.

Although it felt strange to be without my phone, the experience made me realize how dependent we are on mobile phones these days. It was actually refreshing to focus completely on the task without any distractions.
