One of the best experiences I had ever had was participating in one of the those 'escape the room' games you know , where a team of people is locked in a room and must find clues and solve puzzle to complete a given mission and find the key to escape. I had heard a lot about this type of entertainment and really wanted to participate, but only managed to when my friend decided to have an unusual birthday outing. So, there were 6or 7 of us in a team. We were kind of spies who broke into someone's house to find some secret files. Frankly speaking, I remember that we had one hour to escape the room to avoid being caught and imprisoned. The room in which we were locked, was packed with different stuff such as books, maps, fedoras, magnets, sticky notes, watches, old wigs, compasses, lamps, board games, playing cards. The puzzles were really challenging and intriguing. It was real fun. We were frantically searching for clues. Some of them involved solving riddles, putting items in the correct order, or finding a set of objects hidden in the room. What I will never forget is that there was a broken clock and for a long time we couldn't figure out that we had to pay attention to the time it stopped on. By the way, it appeared to be the last clue. So, we even thought we would sink with the ship, but then one us had a brainwave and we survived in the last minute. It was really unusual an activity for all of us as we hadn't done anything like that before. And to tell the truth, I didn't expect it to be so interesting.
