i. What's the difference between films and books?

ii. Do you prefer book or movies?

iii. Is it important to read a book before watching a movie version of it?

Well, first of all, books give in-depth understanding of characters and plot while movies are more a kind of summary of books What is more, while reading a book we pay attention to every _line, imagine how things are going and create the scenes in our heads in fine detail. When it comes to movies we just see everything as it is without giving our imagination a chance to fill our heads with amazing_ pictures which usually far exceed the visual effects displayed in movies. And the last difference I should mention is the fact that watching a movie is quite quick while reading a book is a lengthy process which makes us even more involved in the plot and extends our pleasure.

iv. How can reading help children?

v. Do you think parents should help their children develop the reading habit from an early age?

For one thing, reading improves brain development and increases discipline, which opens the door to the kids" early academic success. Secondly, reading plays an important role in language development. I mean it improves kids' linguistic skills in the form of a richer vocabulary, correct grammar, better writing and spelling and more articulate oral communication. Also, children are curious, and they ask 100 questions per day, half of which parents struggle to answer. So it is reading that can satisfies kids' curiosity by providing explanations of how things work. Otherwise, many parents would go crazy. Finally, reading helps children practice imagination by letting the words describe a certain image while the reader manipulates the picture in the mind.
