57.Helping others

Q.1 Should children help their parents with household chores?

Ans-Yeah, I think kids should help their parents around the house because it's just part of living together as a family. Everyone lives there, so it makes sense that everyone does a little. Also, kids feel more grown-up when they help, especially with simple things like setting the table or feeding a pet. Another point is that small chores don't really hurt anyone. They don't take much time, but they still matter. And honestly, it makes everyday life a bit easier for everyone, which is always a good thing in a busy family.

Q.2 What kind of help do people need when looking for a new job?

Ans-Oh, two main things that I think are really important when people are looking for a new job are knowing where to look instead of wasting time online, and getting a second opinion on their CV. For the first one, people often don't know which websites or companies are worth checking, so some guidance can save them a lot of time. For the second one, people can read their CV many times and still miss mistakes or unclear sentences, so having someone else check it really helps. It can also give them ideas on how to make it stronger. Many people feel nervous before interviews too, and just knowing that their CV is in good shape already makes them feel more confident. So yeah, getting help with these things makes the whole process less stressful and helps people focus on actually applying for jobs.

Q.3 Who should people ask for help, colleagues or family members?

Ans-I think people can get help from both colleagues and family members, depending on the kind of support they need. Colleagues may be really useful because they know the job and the industry better, so they can give practical tips. They can also share useful contacts or connections that might help in the search. Family members may be great for emotional support, because they know the person well and can give honest feedback. They also help without expecting anything in return, which makes it easier to stay motivated. So, I'd say it's a mix - colleagues for practical advice, and family for encouragement and confidence. Both types of help are important when someone is trying to find a new job.

Q.4 What can children help parents with?

Ans-I think children, regardless of the age, can help their parents in many different ways. Even 2-year-olds can contribute to chores by performing simple tasks like picking up their toys and books, putting clothes on clothes hooks, or setting placemats on the dinner table. Older children can take on bigger chores like feeding pets, taking out rubbish, tidying up their room, or cleaning up after a meal.

Q.5 In your view, should children be taught to help others?

Ans-Definitely, they should. Lending others a helping hand is really important for increasing children's self-confidence, self-esteem and life satisfaction because it improves mood, reduces stress and anxiety, brings fun and fulfillment to kids' lives. Moreover, it helps kids operate successfully in society, I mean, make new friends, strengthen existing relationships and boost social skills in general.
