Q1 What shows do old people and young people watch?
Q2 What other programs do you like to watch?
Q3 What TV programs are popular in your country?
Ans- In my country, people really enjoy reality shows, especially talent shows like The Voice or Got Talent. They're fun and people love seeing ordinary folks perform on stage. Comedy shows are also very popular because everyone needs a good laugh after work. News programs are still watched, especially by older people or those interested in politics. They help people stay updated on local and global events. Personally, I prefer reality shows. They're light and entertaining. The news can be a bit too serious for me sometimes.
Q4 Do people in your country like to watch foreign TV programs?
Ans- Yes, a lot of people here enjoy watching foreign TV programs. They often find them more exciting or better produced than local ones. For example, foreign dramas or reality shows usually have higher budgets and interesting storylines. It's also a fun way to explore other cultures and lifestyles. Many people, especially students, watch them to improve their English or pick up new phrases. Some shows, like Friends or The Voice, are popular all over the world, so people like feeling part of something global. Foreign programs also offer something fresh that you can't always find on local TV. So overall, yes, foreign shows are quite popular in my country.
Q5 Do you think watching talk shows is a waste of time?
Ans- Yeah, I'd say watching talk shows can be a bit of a waste of time. A lot of them are just gossip or silly drama, especially the celebrity ones. And they can be really repetitive... same jokes, same topics every week. Some people watch them for hours and don't even notice how much time has passed. I also feel like they don't really teach anything useful. It's just background noise most of the time. Of course, they're fun sometimes, but not something I'd recommend every day. I think there are better ways to spend your time.
Q6 Do you think we can acquire knowledge from watching TV programs?
Ans- Yes, I think we absolutely can learn things from TV programs. There are some great shows out there that explain science, history, or culture in a really clear way. And we can learn without feeling like we're studying, which is perfect for people who don't like books. I've learned a lot from travel shows, documentaries, and even cooking programs. They show real situations, not just theories. Also, good programs make learning fun and visual, so it sticks in our memory. We might not remember everything, but we pick up interesting facts along the way. So yeah, I'd say TV can definitely be educational if we choose the right content.
Q7 What's the benefit of letting kids watch animal videos rather than visiting zoos?
Ans- Well, one big benefit, to my mind, is that it's more accessible and convenient for families. Parents don't have to get everyone ready, drive across town, or pay for tickets. They can just press play on a video at home. Also, it doesn't cause stress or harm to animals, which is a big deal for some parents. Kids can still see how animals behave, but without cages or small spaces. And another thing... kids can see a wider variety of animals in their natural habitats. At the zoo they only get to see a few species, but online you can find everything from jungle animals to ocean creatures. Plus, they can rewatch their favorite videos or skip the boring parts. So in a way, videos make it easier, kinder, and even more fun to learn about animals.
Q8 Do teachers play videos in class in your country?
Ans- Yes, a lot of teachers do play videos during lessons. One reason is that it helps students understand topics better, especially in science or geography where visuals really help. Also, videos keep students more engaged. It's just more fun than reading a long paragraph. Teachers often use short clips to explain difficult ideas quickly and clearly. Another reason is that it supports different learning styles. Some kids learn best when they see and hear things, not just read or write. I remember my biology teacher used to show animal videos. They were actually really helpful. So yeah, videos are definitely used and students seem to enjoy them.
