Sample Answer:
Several weeks ago, my friends and I had our weekend get-together. And at some point, we realised that all of us wanted to do something more entertaining than just sitting around and chatting. One of my friends suggested trying an escape room, you know, a game in which a team of people is locked in a room. And they must find clues and solve puzzles to complete a given mission and find the key to escape. I GOT SUPER PSYCHED ABOUT THE IDEA cause it was something I hadn't done before. We did a quick online search for escape rooms in that area and chose the one that had lots of good customer reviews. There were 4 of us. So it cost just about 10 dollars per person, which is not expensive at all. We were kind of spies who broke into someone's house to find some secret files. Frankly speaking I don't remember the storyline in detail, but I remember that we had one hour to escape the room to avoid being caught and imprisoned The room, in which we were locked, was packed with different stuff such as books, maps, fedoras, magnets, sticky notes, watches, old wigs, compasses, lamps, board games, playing cards. We were frantically searching for clues. Some of them involved solving riddles, putting items in the correct order, or finding a set of objects hidden in the room. The puzzles were really challenging. And it was real fun. What I will never forget is that there was a broken clock, and for a long time we couldn't figure out that we had to pay attention to the time it stopped on. By the way, it appeared to be the last clue. It was completely different from what we usually do together. And to tell the truth, I didn't expect it to be so exciting.
