Sample answer-

The person who once persuaded me to do something really important was my father. I'm sure that if it weren't for him, I would have made a very different choice and maybe even regretted it later. He has always been supportive, but there was one moment when he didn't just support me. he actually talked me out of quitting something i cared about. When i was 14, like many teenagers , I did sports and dreamed of becoming a professional athlete. I had trained for a whole year to compete in a national championship. It was a big deal because it only happened once a year. But when the day finally came, I failed to w in. I was really disappointed and started thinking I wasn't good enough. I even made up my mind to quit sports altogether. He persuaded me to give it another shot, to see that one failure didn't mean the end of the road. He reminded me that the bigger the dream, the more setbacks you might face and that's completely normal. His words really stuck with me. I decided not to quit and trained even harder. The following year, I competed again. And this time, I actually won the championship. That moment became a turning point for me. And now, wherever I feel like giving up, I remember how my dad persuaded me to keep going. And I try again.
