66.Describe your grandparent's job

You should say:

what the job was

what you know about this job

if it was the only job he or she did

if you would like to do a job like this

My grandfather was a doctor. He had been working at a regional hospital for more than 50 years until he retired. He started his career as a doctor's assistant, and later became a doctor. He examined, diagnosed and treated patients. He literally worked day and night. I think it was hard. Very hard. But I'm sure that he did exactly what he was born to do, and he wouldn't have changed his job for all the world. For him, it wasn't just a job, it was his calling. My grandfather's work occupied all his time. He never had a second job. It was just impossible a she had no time for that. If he had had a second job, he would have died of fatigue. Sometimes I doubted my grandfather was a human being. He didn't have hobbies. He didn't spend time with friends. He even missed most family gatherings. You know, it's not fun at all. He was always tired, and his eyes were always red because of endless sleepless nights. When he wasn't on duty, he was reading different books and reviewing medical records of his patients. In my opinion, it is a very rewarding job. But wouldn't like to do anything like that because it's really stressful, especially when you understand that you cannot help some patient. Plus, shift work is not my thing. I can't imagine myself working night shifts. What's more, I don't want to sacrifice everything for work.
