When I was a child, I really wanted to have a dog. But my parents didn't seem to be charmed by the idea 'cause when I said 'dog', I imagined playing with my puppy, petting him, sleeping side by side at night, whereas my parents must have heard 'time, expenses, a lot of extra work, and possible destruction of furniture and household goods'. So nо matter how much I begged, they just kept saying "no! But I wanted to have a dog so desperately that 1 decided to go to extremes and promise my parents to take care of the dog and clean my room. So, one day, they said 'yes'. At first, I was really excited, so I did all my household tasks without being nagged to do so. I made my bed, cleaned my room almost every day, took out the trash, and did the dishes. I walked the dog twice a day, fed him, and cleaned up any accidents he had in the flat. But my excitement faded really quickly 'cause i under estimated what this would take. I mean having a dog is like having a baby. You in can't wake up early to walk the dog one day, sleep in the next day. You have to walk the dog twice a day no matter how tired you are, and no matter what you're up to today. Day by day it was getting harder and harder to resist the temptation to do what I wanted to instead of what I promised to. So, my parents ended up taking care of the dog. And it was no longer MY dog, but it was our FAMILY dog. But I think they didn't mind.
