Well, last year I went to a winter resort, and I needed a big suitcase 'cause I couldn't cram all my winter stuff into my small one. You know, just one sweater took up half the space. So I decided to borrow a bigger one 'cause I didn't want to buy an item that I would use once in a blue moon. I have a friend from work who is a serial traveler, and he has suitcases of all sizes and shapes. So I decided to borrow a suitcase from him. The one that he gave to me was hard side luggage. This made me a little worried. These suitcases are very stylish, but prone to cracking and damage. And they are particularly vulnerable to damage during carriage on an airplane while being loaded and unloaded. They do not like being thrown around as many baggage handlers do. I was really afraid it would be scratched or damaged in any other way. What I feared came upon me. My luggage was damaged during the flight. I didn't know how tell my friend about it. I decided to buy exact same suitcase and return it to my friend, hoping wouldn't notice the change. I spent a few days searching for it, but this suitcase model was out of stock. So all I could do was tell my friend the truth about his suitcase and offer a replacement item. When I told him the news, he was so upset that he didn't even manage to get the right look on his face. It appeared to be his favourite suitcase. But he wasn't angry with me 'cause it wasn't my fault.
