73.Making friends

Q1 What do you think of making friends online?

Ans- Honestly, I think making friends online is pretty cool. I mean, you can meet people from all over the world without even leaving your room. It's also way easier to find people who like the same weird stuff as you, especially in online communities. I've got a couple of friends I met online, and we still keep in touch, even though we've never met in real life. But yeah, it's not always perfect. Sometimes you just don't know if the person is for real, like, are they actually who they say they are? That part freaks me out a bit. Still, as long as you're smart about it and don't share too much too soon, I think it's a great way to connect with people.

Q2 Is it a good idea to make friends with people who are much older than you?

Ans- Yeah, I think it's a good idea to have friends who are much older than you. They've usually been through a lot and can offer really helpful advice. You can learn from their experiences instead of making the same mistakes. I also find that older friends often have a calm, balanced way of looking at things, which is great when you need support. Sure, you might not have all the same interests, but if you connect on a deeper level, age doesn't really matter. In the end, friendships are about trust and understanding, not just age. And honestly, I've had some great conversations with people much older than me.

Q3 Do you enjoy meeting new people?

Ans- Yeah, I do enjoy meeting new people, for sure. It's always interesting to hear different opinions and life stories. I can really learn a lot from others. I think it helps me grow and become more open-minded. Sometimes you even find someone who becomes a close friend or helps you in unexpected ways. Plus, I just enjoy talking and connecting with others, it makes life more fun. Of course, not every meeting turns into something meaningful, but I still think it's worth it. You never know what kind of person you'll meet next. And I like that.

Q4 Do you think friendship is important?

Ans- Yes, I think friendship is important because it gives you emotional support during tough times. It helps you feel connected and less lonely, which is something we all need. Friends celebrate your success and lift you up when you're down... that's really powerful. Good friends help you grow and become a better person, just by being there and giving honest feedback. It's comforting to know that someone really understands you. And honestly, friendships add fun, joy, and meaning to everyday life. I can't imagine going through life without people I can truly count on.

Q5 Why is it difficult for some people to make friends with others?

Ans- I think it's difficult for some people to make friends with others because they're shy and don't know how to start a conversation. Also, they're afraid of being judged or rejected, especially if they've had bad experiences in the past. Some people don't share common interests with others, so it's harder to connect. Others struggle with social anxiety or low self-esteem, which makes them feel insecure in social situations. Sometimes they find it hard to trust people, especially if they've been hurt before. All these things can really hold a person back from opening up.

Q6 Do we benefit from having friends with different personalities?

Ans- Yes, we do benefit from having friends with different personalities because they offer new perspectives and help us see things differently. They challenge us to grow and step out of our comfort zone, which can be really good for personal development. I also think they bring balance into our lives. Like, if you're more serious, a fun, outgoing friend can really lift your mood. They help us learn how to adapt and be more understanding in different situations. On top of that, they teach us to appreciate diversity and not just stick to people who are like us. Sometimes they can support us in ways we wouldn't expect. All of that makes the friendship richer and more meaningful, in my opinion.
