79.Making plans

Q1 In general, do you think planning is important?

Q2 Do you think everyone in your country makes everyday plans?

Ans- Oh, definitely it is. Planning makes our life more predictable and, as a result, less stressful. It gives us the right direction, motivates us and keeps us disciplined. It allows focus and personal energy direction preventing us from taking many unnecessary, unfocused and inefficient steps, ensuring that we are staying on track with our goals. It also aids in organising our day, week, month and year and helps us manage our time. I can also say that planning increases our efficiency and helps produce quality work. So, no doubt, it is of primary importance.

Q3 Why do you think some people don't like making plans?

Ans- Well, I guess that one of the reasons for this is the fact that making plans is time-consuming and stressful for people. What is more, plans restrict people in many ways making them feel the pressure of being in charge of unexpected twists, complexities and pitfalls, which can discourage people from planning. I also guess that some people dislike planning just because they like to shake up their routine going where the day takes them. They like the freedom to simply look forward to the outcome and don't want to get disappointed if something goes wrong along the way.

Q4 Why can't people always follow their plans?

Ans- I think that people can't always follow their plans because something unexpected happens. Life can be unpredictable. You never know what's around the corner. They also change their mind sometimes, especially if they find a better opportunity or a new interest. Another reason is that they lose motivation after a while and just give up. Some people get too busy with other things like work, school, or family. They also realise their plan wasn't achievable, especially if it required too much time or money. Sometimes they get help or advice and decide to do something different. And honestly, some people simply forget about it if it wasn't that important to them.

Q5 Why do people make plans?

Ans- Well, people make plans mainly to stay organized and focused. When they have a clear idea of what needs to be done, it's easier to prioritize and use their time effectively. Plans help them achieve specific goals by breaking down big tasks into smaller, more manageable steps. They also reduce uncertainty and help manage potential risks. If you can anticipate problems in advance, it's easier to find solutions before things go wrong. Making plans also helps people feel more in control of their future, which can reduce stress and avoid last-minute rushes. Lastly, having a plan in place allows people to track their progress and stay motivated to keep going.

Q6 Why do some people like to make plans while some others just don't like to?

Ans- I think that some people like to make plans while others don't because they value different things. People who enjoy planning usually value structure and control. It makes them feel more secure. On the other hand, some people prefer spontaneity and enjoy the freedom to adapt to changing circumstances. I also think they have different types of goals. Planners often focus on long-term achievements, while non-planners might care more about enjoying the moment. They also deal with uncertainty differently. Some want to avoid surprises, while others are totally fine with things being unpredictable. It can also depend on personality. Some people are naturally more organized and cautious, while others are more laid-back and adventurous. So it really comes down to what makes each person feel comfortable and in control... whether through planning or just going with the flow.

Q7 What kind of plans do young people often make?

Ans- Well, young people often plan their education and future career, especially when they finish school and start thinking about university. They also love traveling, so they often plan trips with their friends, even if it's just a short weekend getaway. These days, the younger generation often plans how to save money, since many of them want to be financially independent. They also often plan their workout or diet routine, especially if they care about their appearance or health. Another common thing is hobbies. Young people often plan to learn a new hobby like dancing or painting. And of course, they often plan birthday parties or group events, because spending time with friends really matters to them. Planning helps them feel more in control and excited about what's coming next.
