Q1 Do you keep plants?
Q2 Have you ever had a plant?
Ans- Oh, of course yes. Plenty of them. They are a great decorating solution to breathe in more life into the living space. They add a touch of beauty, freshen the air and create the feeling of nature indoor. They also de-stress my home and ease my mental fatigue. So, yeah! I've had and will always have plants at home!
Q3 Do you know anything about growing a plant?
Ans- Yeah, I do. When I was a child, I stayed at my grandparents' house every summer. And my grandfather grew lots of vegetables. My grandma had lots of houseplants. So they taught me to take care of the plants and seedlings. And I still remember a lot. First of all, you need a container and soil to sow seeds or plant seedlings. If you grow plants from seeds, you'll need to transplant them into larger pots once they have their first set of true leaves. A very important thing is to water plants wisely. I mean it's important to keep soil consistently moist, but you avoid overwatering because roots growing in waterlogged soil cannot absorb the oxygen needed to function normally. So they may die, and the dying roots decay and cannot supply the plants with nutrients and water. Also, you need to fertilize your plants regularly, you should give seedlings enough light. And, of course, you may need to use pesticides to kill weeds and pests.
Q4 What plants did you grow when you were younger?
Ans- When I was younger, I used to help my parents grow tomatoes and cucumbers in the garden. We also had some strawberries, which I enjoyed picking in the summer. Gardening wasn't really my thing, but I liked seeing the results. It felt good to eat something we had grown ourselves.
Q5 Do people in your country send plants as gifts?
Ans- Oh yes, people in my country often send plants as gifts. Flowers are especially popular for birthdays and holidays. Many people also choose potted plants like orchids or succulents because they last longer than cut flowers. It's a nice way to show care and bring beauty into someone's home.
