I once saw this post on Instagram from a marketing guy I follow. He was sharing examples of really clever ads - the kind that stick with you. And one of them, actually the top one on his list, was a Mercedes-Benz commercial... with chickens.

At first, I was like, 'What does a chicken have to do with a luxury car?' But then I watched it, and honestly, it was genius. In the video, people are holding chickens and moving their bodies around, but the chickens' heads stay perfectly still. You know how birds do that? Their heads stay steady even if the rest of their body moves. It's weird but fascinating.

Anyway, the ad uses that to show how Mercedes' suspension system keeps the cu. steady even when the road isn't. And at the it just says something like 'Stability at it with the Mercedes logo. No loud music, no dramatic voiceover, just a simple, smart idea that makes the point perfectly. That ad really made me appreciate how creative Mercedes is with their marketing. It doesn't try too hard. It's just clever. Definitely one of the most memorable ads I've seen.
