Ans-I would like to describe a time when I sent an email to someone but did not receive any reply for a long time.
This happened about a year ago when I emailed my college teacher. I sent the message to my course instructor because I needed help with an important assignment. The email was about the topic selection and the submission deadline, and I wanted to make sure I was doing everything correctly.
After sending the email, I expected a quick reply, maybe within one or two days. However, I did not receive any response. At first, I thought the teacher might be busy, so I decided to wait. But as more days passed, I started to feel nervous and confused. I checked my email again and again, hoping to see a reply.
Nearly a week passed, and still there was no response. The deadline was coming closer, and I began to feel stressed. I was worried that my assignment might be rejected if I made a mistake. I also felt helpless because I did not know whom else to ask.
After around ten days, I finally sent a polite follow-up email. In that email, I mentioned my previous message and requested a reply. A few days later, I finally received a response. The teacher apologized for the delay and explained that they had been very busy with exams and official work.
When I read the reply, I felt relieved and calm. All my stress disappeared at that moment. At the same time, I learned an important lesson from this experience. I realized that waiting without a reply can be uncomfortable, but it is important to stay patient and respectful.
This experience also taught me to send clear emails and follow up politely if necessary. Overall, although it was stressful, it was a useful experience that helped me become more confident in communicating through emails.
